Kay, let us think.

When there's nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son
One more son
If you can hold on
If you can hold on, hold on (8)

....

So onto something about music, if that is Xanthe's wish (which is fair enough since blogging was interesting. Why did it die people? ... All of you are evil, because I enjoyed reading them ;[). Well my favourites in bands...hmmm. I love the Killers first and foremost; I had loved them for many many years, and when Day & Age came out I was completely drawn in. Don't you just love Brandon Flowers' feather jacket :P

Seeeeee..

=]

Yes, so they are my absolute favs, and under that several bands fight for position depending on the mood I'm in really. Or just because I've randomly rediscovered a song. Or something.

I am enjoying Blue October quite a lot, generally the songs from one album - History For Sale.
Chameleon Boy, Clumsy Card House and Calling You are fabulous songs :)
Its an odd love of mine, Blue October, as you really hate their voices to start off with. Its an acquired taste.
Maxïmo Park is another love of mine, although their songs are pretty depressing I don't tend to notice it

And then Elliot Minor, Fall Out Boy and Franz Ferdinand <3>

oooo and Kings of Leon. =]

Ohh and Muse of course :) Their new album also got me listening to all their old albums again. I have no idea what my favourite songs from Muse are. I do have many. Resistance in the new album is my most-played Muse song, but they are all something that I can be bothered to think about!

So, yeah. Now back to quietly waiting for more blogs :)

Nos da, a cysgwn dawel.

'dont think just write'

What to do, to escape from the 'contrived' blogs I've apparently been doing.

No thinking, I think too much during writing? Do I?

Never actually thought about that. How ironic :)

There's not much I'm thinking of at the moment. I'm scared to think of a problem because Xanthe'll want me to sort it out then :|
I'm in such a lazy mood at the moment I feel, like I just can't be arsed to sort out anything...when I constantly have the luxury of so much free time. What's the problem there? Do I need drugs? Not that that'll help at all. No no no. Drugs are very naughty :)
Apparently the society is using them too much to try to solve simple things like sadness, where the need isn't very important. Yes, watch 'It's Only A Theory' on iplayer :) Its fabulous - with both Reginald D Hunter AND Andy Hamilton =D

That was certainly the highlight of my evening watching that, because I'm just obsessed with the iplayer, en ce moment.

And apart from that, well I'm annoyed at Bit torrent for messing up my download.... Tried downloading 28 Days Later, because it's great and I wanted to watch it for the 2nd time :) but apparently not, Bit torrent decides to ruin it for me. You know, they've now decided to create a sequel to 28 Weeks Later, quite obviously, 28 Months Later (Where will this end?). So yeah, new film building on the end of the prequel where the deadly Rage virus ends up next to the Eiffel Tower. Isn't that surprising? :)
So more death and destruction in my favourite post-apocalyptic film series to date. However, the director did state 'the film is not a science fiction horror film but rather a drama in that environment'.

Now, isn't that interesting? Reminds me of the Big Brother with the zombies, so exciting =]

Well, anyway. On the film perspective, I really want to see Ricky Gervais' new film =] looks fun
A world without lying. Good as a comedy but I couldn't deal with it in real life. =/
I mean, where are the advantages in a world with only truth? Please enlighten me. I have no idea.

The politicians would be hilarious. Even more so than usual. Like Stanley Baldwin just before World War Two. He pretty much told the British public that if Britain was bombed there was fuck-all he could do about it =] that's just the most inspiring speech possible. Love it.

Right so, just so you know I've been listening to Muse throughout the whole writing of this blah blah blog...
trying in vain to find a big word to use there.

Maybe in the upcoming envisioned blog I shall think of enticingly big words. =]

Anyway, Gwyn is y'off

Grapes!

OR

You choose.

oooo and by the way, what are the feelings on the new Mika album?

I love Blame It On The Girls, and I See You. They're epic! =]

Yes, Gwyn is feeling moderately random and quite happy today; not in a thinking mood, however. So blog over.

Portmanteau

I want.

I feel I dress too childishly, and I really want to get different clothes. (And indeed large suitcases.
I wouldn't use it but it looks cool!)
Sarah put this idea in my head; she keeps saying stuff that inspires fashion ideas ... in my head.
Apparently I need a black and white shirt now :P
I do want a black and white shirt. I want lots of shirts. I wanted to have a suit and posh shoes and everything, but my mum says you can't have that because it's a waste of money. She says I'm not supposed to go around wearing such clothing.

Why not?!

I think its all so cool, AND sophisticated. I feel left behind when I'm stuck in the typical blue-navy top and jeans.

Then again, at least I have my watch (even if it does constantly stop and start - Yes, I am too lazy to get its batteries sorted. I'll fix it when the need is dire). My watches make me feel happy :)
They're like something you can keep all your life, at least I hope so. I like permanence; I'm not too impulsive, hence why it takes me so long to get any new clothes.

Anyway, I want a new mug :)

In fact, that mug suits you, Xanthe.

ohh yeah, and the suitcase up top is a portmanteau.
A portmanteau can also be where you use two words to form one word - like smog. Or it can be used to describe a merge of cultures - My big word, Chloe. :)

Random Politics

Isn't our Prime Minister a fabulous dancer; I certainly aspire to be like him.

And there's Berlusconi, looking a tad bit like a plastic model. Well done.

Politics is so interesting is it not?

No...

Just me. Ok

Well, I like looking it up from time to time, although the real extent of my politics info comes from watching Mock the Week (which I must remember to watch tonight)
I like old politics better, (1) because history is fabulous and (2) because the politicians around today are fumbling idiots.
The titles the old monarchies had i just find hilarious. In my homework for history I was looking into the Tsars; I then came across the full title that they used in the Russian Constitution of 1906:

'Emperor and Autocrat of all the Russias, of Moscow, Kiev, Vladimir, Novgorod, Tsar of Kazan, Tsar of Astrakhan, Tsar of Poland, Tsar of Siberia, Tsar of Tauric Chersonesos, Tsar of Georgia, Lord of Pskov, and Grand Duke of Smolensk, Lithuania, Volhynia, Podolia, and Finland, Prince of Estonia, Livonia, Courland and Semigalia, Samogitia, Belostok, Karelia, Tver, Yugra, Perm, Vyatka, Bulgaria and other territories; Lord and Grand Duke of Nizhni Novgorod, Sovereign of Chernigov, Ryazan, Polotsk, Rostov, Yaroslavl, Beloozero, Udoria, Obdoria,Kondia, Vitebsk, Mstislavl, and all northern territories; Sovereign of Iveria, Kartalinia, and the Kabardinian lands and Armenian territories - hereditary Lord and Ruler of the Circassians and Mountain Princes and others; Lord of Turkestan, Heir of Norway, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein,Stormarn, Dithmarschen, Oldenburg, and so forth, and so forth, and so forth.'

Bit excessive?

Of course not. Who wouldn't want to show off a large amount of impossible-to-pronounce lands!

Well, yes, so the EU. What is your opinion on the European Union, 27 countries with a vast amount of culture and influence throughout the world?

Because in my opinion, they have the potential to hypothetically rock the boat of Earth conspicuously, so I enjoy the idea of a European-Superpower-kind-of-thing. I prefer to be involved with Europe than America. What about you?

So that's enough thinking for me.
