Grapes!

OR

You choose.

oooo and by the way, what are the feelings on the new Mika album?

I love Blame It On The Girls, and I See You. They're epic! =]

Yes, Gwyn is feeling moderately random and quite happy today; not in a thinking mood, however. So blog over.

Portmanteau

I want.

I feel I dress too childishly, and I really want to get different clothes. (And indeed large suitcases.
I wouldn't use it but it looks cool!)
Sarah put this idea in my head; she keeps saying stuff that inspires fashion ideas ... in my head.
Apparently I need a black and white shirt now :P
I do want a black and white shirt. I want lots of shirts. I wanted to have a suit and posh shoes and everything, but my mum says you can't have that because it's a waste of money. She says I'm not supposed to go around wearing such clothing.

Why not?!

I think its all so cool, AND sophisticated. I feel left behind when I'm stuck in the typical blue-navy top and jeans.

Then again, at least I have my watch (even if it does constantly stop and start - Yes, I am too lazy to get its batteries sorted. I'll fix it when the need is dire). My watches make me feel happy :)
They're like something you can keep all your life, at least I hope so. I like permanence; I'm not too impulsive, hence why it takes me so long to get any new clothes.

Anyway, I want a new mug :)

In fact, that mug suits you, Xanthe.

ohh yeah, and the suitcase up top is a portmanteau.
A portmanteau can also be where you use two words to form one word - like smog. Or it can be used to describe a merge of cultures - My big word, Chloe. :)

Random Politics

Isn't our Prime Minister a fabulous dancer; I certainly aspire to be like him.

And there's Berlusconi, looking a tad bit like a plastic model. Well done.

Politics is so interesting is it not?

No...

Just me. Ok

Well, I like looking it up from time to time, although the real extent of my politics info comes from watching Mock the Week (which I must remember to watch tonight)
I like old politics better, (1) because history is fabulous and (2) because the politicians around today are fumbling idiots.
The titles the old monarchies had i just find hilarious. In my homework for history I was looking into the Tsars; I then came across the full title that they used in the Russian Constitution of 1906:

'Emperor and Autocrat of all the Russias, of Moscow, Kiev, Vladimir, Novgorod, Tsar of Kazan, Tsar of Astrakhan, Tsar of Poland, Tsar of Siberia, Tsar of Tauric Chersonesos, Tsar of Georgia, Lord of Pskov, and Grand Duke of Smolensk, Lithuania, Volhynia, Podolia, and Finland, Prince of Estonia, Livonia, Courland and Semigalia, Samogitia, Belostok, Karelia, Tver, Yugra, Perm, Vyatka, Bulgaria and other territories; Lord and Grand Duke of Nizhni Novgorod, Sovereign of Chernigov, Ryazan, Polotsk, Rostov, Yaroslavl, Beloozero, Udoria, Obdoria,Kondia, Vitebsk, Mstislavl, and all northern territories; Sovereign of Iveria, Kartalinia, and the Kabardinian lands and Armenian territories - hereditary Lord and Ruler of the Circassians and Mountain Princes and others; Lord of Turkestan, Heir of Norway, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein,Stormarn, Dithmarschen, Oldenburg, and so forth, and so forth, and so forth.'

Bit excessive?

Of course not. Who wouldn't want to show off a large amount of impossible-to-pronounce lands!

Well, yes, so the EU. What is your opinion on the European Union, 27 countries with a vast amount of culture and influence throughout the world?

Because in my opinion, they have the potential to hypothetically rock the boat of Earth conspicuously, so I enjoy the idea of a European-Superpower-kind-of-thing. I prefer to be involved with Europe than America. What about you?

So that's enough thinking for me.

A Dream

I wanted to record down this dream in a blog because I thought it was well weird.

It reminds me of Torchwood, and that's kinda cool.

So, yeah it was set in real places but they were connected somehow oddly. What I mean by this is that there was a place that reminded me more of Queen St. in Cardiff, but down the road from there was St. Cenydd....

But that isn't the point.

It included a fair-few people from school; I was cleaning this road with John, Liam, Trev and Lewis, getting laughed at several times by Rubers. That was just the first day, and it seems to be quite realistic. Not quite the usual dream for me, but not that interesting.
It was the next day that things became interesting. We slept in this place on the road that reminded me of Cardiff, yeah. By the way, is that weird to dream of sleeping in a dream....?

And, yeah so in the next morning, I got up earlier, walked to the school and back, and Xanthe said that Adam had gone missing.... I don't quite know why I needed to know or anything. It just happened. I didn't think much of it at the time. Continuing my walk back to where we had slept I found Lewis, and John etc. just outside a newsagents shop. The strange thing was that whenever they stood under a cloud's shadow they would freeze ... completely ... until the cloud passed over.

So this phenomenon was showed to others and Xanthe planned to go out and search for Adam, because perhaps the same thing was happening to him.

And then, I woke up .... but the torchwoodesqueness of the dream enthralled me :)

Sorry, this blog is a bit pointless, but well the dream is without an ending. What is the clouds doing?!

My Mind Is Constantly Thinking Of Food.....

...mmmm Galaxy...

=)

So as I commented on Beth's blog, music doesn't affect my blogging, that is while I am writing. Before or during making my blog, if I stop I'll be reduced to non-typing. I mean who can't get involved with Bohemian Rhapsody when its on. No one!

I'm not going to bother with the whole 'documenting your music as you type'. Too much effort involved, and I must type out a blog much slower than the majority of peoples. Many songs go past as I type like one paragraph. What is it, like - you type the first thing that comes to your mind without actually checking spelling etc?

Holiday boredom has seemed to be ubiquitous this week. I mean, seriously, I need to do something other than sleep, eat (barely) and read, although now I've finished my book on Genghis Khan I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!

Well, actually I do mean to look up stuff on YouTube to learn keyboard still. Learned the start of Hoppipolla which I've meant to do for ages, so I guess that's one accomplishment

Not meaning to be querulous, but I am bored of looking up words with [kew] in them.

Ohh, I have got the driving computer test to do...
That's top of the list...can't wait to learn how to drive. My dad said he'd pay for the driving lessons for my birthday as long as I sorted it out...not really thinking about actually getting a car though. What about you? Anyone have a car yet? Apart from Chloe and Sarah?

Well, actually one good thing did happen this week - went to see Harry Potter with Carrie. I thought it was an unmitigated enjoyment compared to the 5th film. Although what's your opinion on the death of Dumbledore. I'm not sure it was portrayed as sadly as it was in the book. Hmm....

Also, I commend Nando's for its yumminess. =)

So, yeah, out of inspiration

Sunday, 28 June 2009

I love this paranoia that's now creeping up, that nobody is reading or wants to read your blog.

To be honest, I've already joined this paranoia, I dunno if any one's actually reading but I'm not going to care.

So blogging is generally becoming more of a diary as the weeks go on. Here we are at the end of June. Blogging's barely been going on for a month by us lot, and we've already had a 'blogging crunch' and a rise again.

Its very interesting.....kind of

Well, what to write about. Yeah, I've lost inspiration. No thing's happened much has it. Lets see - well on Friday I went to Karan's with Rout, Sarah and Carrie and we played poker lol
It was going to be another day at the park but the rain was terrible. (Note to self - give Carrie her umbrella back)

And then came Saturday. Starved for the most of the morning because of the electrician turning up. My mum and Gareth are never happy with the way the house looks. We had most of the lights changed. We thought the electrician would want to turn off all electrical appliances, so we had to get up early on a bloody Saturday! and go to B&Q twice grr

We had our breakfast on the by pass opposite the school. You know the place.....

Incidentally, we needn't have gone out for breakfast or indeed get up early. Only the lights needed to be turned off....

So, in the afternoon, I played on the wii, created a Roger Federer mii cos I can lol.
In the evening, when I went to my dad's me and my sister had a Greek/Mediterranean type dinner, with salad and whatnot, and I watched LoveActually in the night. Good film

Today, I've been bored shitless. Just looked at all the newly available blogs and that is about it.
I can't wait to go to school tomorrow - that's how bored I am. Anyway I is off. Tra peeps
